Immosea

Immosea is a newly established marketing agency that helps individuals rent and sell their property. The customer acquisition with Immosea is to take place thereby exclusively over the Website. Usability is the top priority here, as customers select and order their desired services directly via the custom multistep form – completely without personal contact.

Immosea offers customers all the services that a real estate agent would normally provide and thus supports private individuals in the brokerage of their property. This includes, for example, the creation of brochures, object photography, floor plan creation, etc. The customers will be able to directly order the preferred services via the website.

How the idea was born

Philip and his wife Nathalie are realtors from Gabelbach, Germany. They had an idea to create a platform where clients can apply for the provision of services for the sale of real estate. No one has yet had such an idea, the guys came up with very cool and convenient functionality. The reason for creating this website was some mature changes in the law. Previously, owners could sell their property commission-free, but now owners should pay commission the same amount as buyers pay.

Guys were so caught up in the idea, so provided us with all the necessary information with descriptions of the brand book and how the WooCoomerce part must work.  Also, Nathalie made mockups of how the website should look.

She says: “I thought I should make It by myself, according to my experience, so our clients can use our website conveniently”.

We were really impressed by that idea so gathered the entire team of our developers and discussed this project in full.

Creating wonderwork

  • Clients were looking to create a website from scratch. So the business goals of the project were:
    1. Lead generation
    2. Create a convenient platform for services ordering
    3. Describe process
  • The first step of starting development was setting up a new website on a Markupus staging server and WordPress & WooCommerce implementation.
  • An important observation: back-end and UI design phases started at the same moment to save time and meet the clients’ desired deadlines.
  • Then we added all necessary services and set payments with PayPal as our clients wanted. On a call, we showed clients how the shopping part will be working and how to maintain the website.
  • The team of our developers took into account all wishes and built the correct backend logic. We built the main custom multi-step form for ordering services. For example, when certain functions are selected, different options should be shown for subsequent actions.
  • We also added cookies to the clients’ website.
  • It is very convenient when the invoice is generated in the form of a PDF document and sent by mail. We implemented this feature on the clients’ website.
  • Our designers created layouts for the Immosea according to mockups and client’s wishes. We made UI designs for a home page, inner pages, and wizard form (way of adding services to a cart).
  • After approving the designs by clients we made a WordPress implementation of the landing page, UI kit, and the wizard.
  • Also, we did on-site SEO preparation: we wrote semantic front-end code, installed the YOAST plugin, and followed all Google recommendations.
  • When all parts of the website were ready and clients were satisfied with the UI of pages, we made form validation to check that all work as needed.
  • And the next step was QA testing. We checked the compliance of the work with our QA checklist of points and tested the result in all major devices and browsers.
  • After all rounds of debugging & tweaking and after the client’s approval, we deployed the website to the Client’s hosting server.
  • As we always do, we record a video tutorial on how to maintain the website: how to add, delete and edit services or make some necessary changes.

Result

As a result, we got a unique & fully responsive website with a minimalistic design for Immosea – be your own makler.

There is a smooth animation and highlighting of active elements on the website. All steps of the wizard form work correctly: when filling in all the necessary fields, the client receives a PDF file by mail, and owners receive a report that the client has placed an order.

Ultimately, the client received a user-friendly web service for lead generation that increased their sales.
