Zachary Amdur and Barry Reuben are the owners of a wine business. They have their own wine production in collaboration with the best sommelier in Italy Filiberto Magnati.

However, the Mysterious Wines website does not look attractive as it must be. It is overloaded with images, there is no uniform style and it feels like the site is very old. Bad UX/UI kills business and alienates customers despite good quality products.

So the main wish was: “It must be a modern design. If you see a modern attractive logo and website, on a subconscious level, you think that the products are cool too and you want to buy them”.

Features

Mysterious Wines is a custom eCommerce platform. We breathe new life into clients’ website UX/UI. 

A team of designers and developers made a completely user-centered design: with a light pattern, unobtrusive animations, and clear intuitive functionality.

Our developers added custom functions to WooCoomerce such as Wish List, Subscriptions, and Gifts to make shopping more convenient. Also, the ACF Pro plugin was used to get success in designing.

 

So here are the main circumstances of the website:

  • Animations – here are a lot of smooth and modern animations. Such as the effect of water on the buttons. It was made with only CSS styles.
  • Questionnaire – here is a small test with cool modern pics & animations of 10 questions. And after you’ll get a result what wine should you buy according to the recommendations of sommelier Filiberto.
  • Ability to order wine samples before buying a whole bottle.
  • Subscriptions – you get a wine subscription and you’ll receive bottles of wines every 3 months. 
  • Order status – you can track the status of your order. This feature was implemented with the WooCommerce order status manager plugin.
  • Gift cards – you can buy a card to give to someone as a gift. It was implemented with WooCommerce subscription & gifting plugins.
  • Stripe payment methods – you can pay as with a card and as with Apple and Google pay.
