Utterly Printable is a successful online platform and shop that allows customers to design their stationary (wedding invitations, birthday cards, etc) with an integrated design tool and then have it printed and sent to them.
They requested to optimize their website’s mobile version, especially since the design tool was too slow, preventing Utterly Printable from getting more conversions. And they were in the right place!
Options consideration
Before we started working with them, we talked with their developer about the problem. He said that switching to a backend framework is the only way to optimize a website. We didn’t really like this idea as it meant Utterly Printable would have the same optimization problem for at least half of the year and lose even more clients. So, that was not the option, and we started looking for other solutions.
Utterly Printable Process
To optimize the website, we connected CloudFlare, optimized the script, and made progress with all page optimization. Then, we started the front end for the website’s mobile version to improve the card design tool’s look and also started its optimization. Overall, we did much optimization work, and the website and design tool started working much smoother.
Further improvement
After we solved the key problem, we suggested that the client switch their design tool from jQuery, ordinary JS, to React JS. This change allowed us to improve optimization even more. Now, the design tool works more like an app.
Utterly Printable RSVP
They already had a simple form with RSVP on the website, and we made a more functional one with the ability to add a photo and additional data, which is displayed after a purchase on the rsvp.studio website, as here, for example https://rsvp.studio/developer-utterly/. We also made a tool for generating wedding invitations using AI from scratch, including design and development.
Result
Utterly Printable started getting more website traffic, increased conversions, and started making more profit
thanks to the better design tool UI and optimization we did for them. Now, as the next step, we are working on the whole website redesign to make it work even better and increase website conversion rates.
