It all started with the idea of our client to create a website that would help users share their habits for a healthy lifestyle with others.
Every registered user can create a collection of their habits, which helps others learn about different lifestyles. Users can also calculate their lifespan with an external tool and share their thoughts with the community. The goal is to bring people together with similar goals and motivate others to improve themselves.
At first, we didn’t have a sitemap or design assets to guide us, but we had the most important thing: the client’s vision. Through a few calls and some PowerPoint templates, we were able to understand the project’s goal.
Process
This project was engaging for the whole team because the client was open to our ideas and eager to work with us. The first step was defining the project requirements.
We used Figma Jam to map out the website’s structure and pages. Then, we created a detailed document with the requirements and shared it with the team.
Design
At this stage, our focus was on aligning with the healthy lifestyle theme to motivate users to improve their habits and share them with others. We created a user-friendly and stylish design that reflected a positive, uplifting vibe. The design featured light colors to emphasize health and well-being.
Development
As soon as the homepage of the website was approved, our team started working on the development. It was important to stick to the client’s budget, so some solutions were made using plugins (like users’ import or community functionality). This approach enabled us to deliver a feature-rich platform while adhering to the client’s budget constraints.
Custom solutions for everyone
We had never done something like this before. Users of the website can create custom stacks post types based on the complex form and manage their stacks in the personal account: edit, add more items, share with others, and more. No matter how complex your idea is, we can turn it into the website with our skills.
Result
It was a satisfying project for our team, and the client is happy with the final outcome that we all achieved together.
